How to Psychically Protect Yourself Against Negative Energy

HJ: In a dualistic existence, we are only as susceptible to negative energy attachments as we let ourselves become.  Most people are unaware of this aspect of their existence and so may host many energies and spirits that do not serve their highest good.  Such is the nature of life on Earth at this time.  However, that being said, it is not at all difficult to rid oneself of these energies.  An invocation is usually enough to banish most unwanted spirits/energies from ones field and may be repeated as often as is desired.  The article below goes into detail on the mechanics and techniques of this practice.
One need not become excessive in their use of the invocation — typically once a day is sufficient.  Also, it should be noted that as one reaches higher levels of vibration/frequency, they become more resilient towards these lower energies and hence will naturally repel them to some extent.  However, even those highly conscious and evolved souls can benefit from regular clearing of their field.  Furthermore, if one has never before performed such an invocation, no matter what level they are at spiritually/vibrationally, they will likely find it to be of great benefit.  I can still remember the first time I performed one — it literally felt as if a 100 pound weight was lifted off my chest.  My life changed dramatically from that point forward — my health improved, my clarity strengthened and my mood became infinitely more stable.
An important thing to note here is that we can have negative energies from other people — including friends, relatives, parents, loved ones, etc. attached to us in addition to any spirits or implants and it is important to include these energies in any invocation/clearing, as they can affect us to a very substantial degree as well…

Psychic Protection: Immunise Yourself Against Negative Energy

Have you ever entered an empty room, or office, and felt “uncomfortable”? Feeling perhaps quite happy to get out of that room, or office, as soon as possible? Maybe you have found somewhere that feels “bad” at one time yet feels “okay” at another time? This could be where we work, live, or somewhere we are visiting or passing through.
What about people? Do you know anyone who seems to have a “negative” aura? When­ever you are near them you feel more depressed, angry or fearful, than you normally do? How about the opposite? Do you know anyone who seems to make you feel better just by being around you, not even needing to say anything to you to improve things?
Apart from feeling worse around certain people and/or in certain places, do you find that you sometimes lose a lot of energy (psychic draining) in these circumstances? Do you have a problem with such things as insomnia, poor sleep, nightmares or low energy levels? Perhaps you are constantly lacking in energy? Maybe being diagnosed as having chronic fatigue? Or maybe you always seem to be getting colds, illnesses or other problems?
If the answer is “yes” then chances are you may be under intentional, or unintentional, negative psychic influence. What some people call being under psychic attack. Can anything be done about such situations? Yes, psychic protection is what one can learn to counter such things. Before talking about psychic protection however, we may wonder what it is and how it works.
To better understand this we need to understand these negative influences. Put simply they are usually categorised into two types. Thought energies (or if they have a shape – thoughtforms) and negative spirit influence. Now, you may instantly think I am talking about dead people. I am not. We are all “spirits”. Some of us are physically alive and some of us aren’t. We do notbecome a spirit when we physically die. We are already one.
One may also say, “But I cannot see/hear spirits. This is proof they don’t exist”. Well, I cannot see radio, or television waves in this room. Does that mean they aren’t here? I wouldn’t think so. Much the same as hearing. I cannot hear a dog whistle. But dogs can! It would be rather foolish for me to conclude such a whistle made no noise simply on the grounds that “I didn’t hear it.”
Negative thought energies are created by someone (dead or alive) thinking negative thoughts, e.g. anger, hatred, fear etc. If the person is thinking these thoughts about us then they are automatically projected in our direction. In addition, as negative spirits are attracted to negative energy these people will often accompany the energies. Particularly if this is done “formally”, i.e., a spell.
Fortunately there is defence against these things. Positive energies will dissolve negative ones and we can arrange for positive spirits to help protect us against negative ones. There is nothing particularly profound about it. To cancel out a fire, water is a good response. The principle of using the opposite response to a spell is along the same lines.
The negative thought content of a spell, or any other form of psychic attack, can be “cancelled out” by directing a positive thoughtform of the same, or greater, strength at it. When they meet, the negative thoughtform will dissolve. This can be achieved by such things as prayer, visualisation, etc. A common example of the latter is to imagine you are surrounded by a “protective” bubble of light. One can also imagine oneself being a hot ball of light. Like the sun. Radiating a hot, bright, light outwards.
The effect of negative entities can be “can­celled out” by positive entities of the same, or greater, strength. If the positive spirits predominate then many of the negative entities can be “cleared” (permanently) to spirit worlds.
Getting help from positive spirits is arranged by requesting it. Prayer in other words. It should be remembered we can do more than arrange “protection” this way. “I ask the Divine Light Forces (Forces of God) for…
(1) Protection against all that is not of the light (alive and dead).
(2) Healing on all levels
(3) Guidance with my life. Especially in the area of ____________________ e.g. knowing what I should be doing spiritually, help with becoming a channel for love, light, healing, guidance and inspiration. Preparing for meetings and/or seminars etc.
(4) Divine love, light and healing en­ergies to go to __________________ (people we live/work with) as well as all who are working against our spiritual progression.
Other points worth noting :
(1) There are some interesting books that can be purchased on this topic in­cluding a booklet I have written. The authors range from psychics to medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. There is a list of some of the books primarily related to the topic of psychic protection on my web site. (2) Light coloured clothes tend to en­courage light coloured energies. For best health never wear dark colours.
(3) If someone is currently sending you negative effects, as in a spell, then you need to direct light, etc. to them constantly until you feel they have stopped. If you “clear” yourself today then there is no reason why they cannot dump you with new discordant energies tomorrow!
(4) Negative thinking/emotions such as anger, fear, etc. weakens our aura and reduces our “protection”. Positive thinking/emotions such as love, etc. strengthen our aura and improves our “protection”.
(5) Keep in mind that things take time. Some people think praying for one night and imagining white light around them for five minutes will solve all their problems. This is unlikely. Suppose discordant effect had built up around you and/or your house for ten years. Do you think it reasonable to expect it to go in five minutes? Think of it this way. If you had a blow torch could you melt an ice­berg? The answer is, of course, yes, but it would take more than five minutes!

Learning to Listen To Your Body: What Food Cravings Are Really Trying to Tell You

HJ: While you might not know the specific nutrient makeup of the foods you eat, your body absolutely does.  Beyond speaking to the incredible, innate intelligence of our cells and physical being, this ‘food memory’ serves an important purpose. For this reason, it is imperative that you learn to listen to your body.
Your body uses cravings for specific foods to make sure its nutritional needs are met.  When you eat a specific food, it imprints your body with a nutritional map of that foods unique nutrient makeup.  When your body needs a particular nutrient, it consults this nutritional food map to determine which foods would supply the given nutrients it needs.  This is a perfect system in and of itself except that we let our logical, reasoning mind get in the way far too often. For example, your body might be craving the exact nutritional elements that are contained in cheese.  However, if you have been indoctrinated to believe cheese is bad or saturated fat is bad, or that cheese makes you fat, or perhaps you are a vegan… you get the idea… then you may repress or ignore this food craving and inadvertently be denying your body what it most desperately needs. I used cheese as an example because it is in many ways a ‘demonized’ food, but this could easily apply to any food.
Even beyond this, we might mistake our cravings or develop maladaptive responses.  For example, if our body is running low on the raw materials to manufacture serotonin, we might crave sweets because the body knows that this creates a surge of serotonin in the body.  However, it does not address the underlying problem, but is merely a band aid for the larger nutrient deficiency.  In these cases we need to retrain our body by learning which foods to substitute to get the same effects.  In time, our bodies will begin craving the new, healthier foods.  This is the primary objective of the article below — to help you learn to understand what your body’s food cravings really mean and switch them over to foods which are not so detrimental, in certain terms, to your health.

All Foods That You Crave Are Driven By A Lack of Specific Nutrients – So Which Foods Will Address Your Craving and Why?

Once we become aware of the foods that do not agree with our biochemistry, hormonal balance and digestion, we can rectify and tweak our diet to satisfy something larger that our body needs. Severe cravings can lead to binge eating and other eating disorders. If we know exactly why we crave a specific food, we can match the nutrient deficiency to a healthy bioavailable source that can perfectly address all our cravings and leave us satiated all year round.
When you hear your tummy growling or you get this “urge,” the problem is deciding whether you’re craving a food for emotional or physiological reasons or whether your body is truly hungry for food it needs.
However, many dieters think of food cravings as a weakness, but 91 percent of participants in a calorie-restriction study experienced food cravings at the start. And even more had cravings six months after dieting, nutritionists at Boston’s Tufts University say.
In fact, accepting food cravings and keeping them in check may be an important component of weight management, explains Susan Roberts, an energy metabolism expert at the university’s Human Nutrition Research Center.
Allowing yourself to have the foods you crave, but matching those cravings to healthy sources, may be one of the most important keys to successful weight control. Some of the most commonly craved foods among are those with high sugar plus fat, such as chocolate, and salty snacks, such as chips and French fries.
For example, a craving for chocolate may signal a need for magnesium, which can be obtained from raw nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits. Cravings for oil snacks and fatty foods may be a sign that you need more calcium from turnip greens, broccoli, kale, and raw cheese.
Women experience greater sense of cravings than men and are more frequently on diets or restricting their diets. They also have more unstable weight, feel more frequently too heavy and want more frequently to lose weight.
Mood is also related to food cravings but in a different way according to gender. A majority of female cravers experienced a more (depressed) mood state during the day, and a negative mood–such as annoyance, boredom, and depression–preceded the craving episodes. In contrast, men more commonly indulged in food craving in association with a feeling of happiness.
What biological factors may be at play to cause women to crave food more than men do?
“The gender difference observed could be due to a higher degree of weight concern in women. Social pressure for thinness–more pronounced in women–may (cause them to) more frequently restrict their diet and to follow a diet to lose weight. As these practices are associated with food cravings, they could be one explanation,”‘ said Lionel Lafay, from the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France.
Another possible explanation could be that women experience a different relationship between food and mood. However, the relationships between food and mood are very complex, as is their underlying biological and psychological determination, Lafay noted.
For example, Lafay said, food craving does not appear to be a simple product of the need for calories and energy.
People who report being hungry often crave salty foods more frequently.
Food craving may be related to a ‘desire’ and not to a ‘need’, which indicates a psychological factor requires satisfying. However, for those individuals who have deficiencies in specific nutrients, the following chart summarizes the craving, the nutrient the body requires, and the food sources that effectively satisfy the food craving.

Strong cravings for starchy, sugary foods often go hand in hand with being overweight, chronically tired, feeling blue or other symptoms of ill health. They can be the result of out of whack blood sugar levels, Candida (yeast overgrowth), and adrenal fatigue. These imbalances can potentially cause disease, premature aging, and us to feel far less than our most fabulous selves.
“You crave what you eat, so if you switch what you’re eating, you can weaken your old cravings and strengthen new ones,” says Marcia Pelchat, PhD, of the Monell Center.
Research shows that even after 5 days you will find that your body will yearn for your trigger foods far less, and after two weeks the cravings are nearly gone.
On a physical level, your blood sugar will begin to balance out, so your body won’t be crying out for foods that it falsely thinks will balance things out. On an emotional level, you will know that it is possible to live without those foods, and you will most likely notice some improvement in your wellbeing, which will keep you motivated.
